Visiting the recycling factory in Nazilli district of Aydın, which aims to expand its physical structure and make an investment of 20 million dollars by 2023 and expects government support in this regard, Chairman of the TBMM KİT Commission and AK Party Aydın Deputy Mustafa Savaş reminded that the government has grant and loan support for exports and stated that they are ready to provide all kinds of support to the enterprise to ensure employment.

Retek Inc., which has the distinction of being the first in the Aydın region and produces in two separate factories on an area of 12,500 square meters, processes 13 trucks of scrap paper collected daily from İzmir, Denizli, and Aydın, turning it into cardboard, and produces gilded bases for cakes and salmon fish, exporting to 42 countries including Iraq, Syria, Qatar, Kenya, Dubai, the UK, and Germany.

“20 MILLION DOLLAR EXPORT”
Polat Güven, an industrialist businessman who stated that the recycling factory in Nazilli, where 80 workers are employed, aims to increase its capacity and reach 20 million dollars of export revenue by 2023, but cannot find land to establish a new factory in the Organized Industrial Zone, said he expected government support. AK Party Aydın Deputy Mustafa Savaş, who visited businessman Güven, listened to him after touring the factories.

“READY TO GROW”
Mechanical Engineer Polat Güven, who said that he started his commercial life after graduating from university in 1983, stated that in order to expand the employment and physical structure of the factory, he needs 100 decares of land and government support. Güven said: “So far, we have grown with our own resources, if we had received support, we would have grown ten times more. We want to make new investments but we cannot find land of suitable size in the Organized Industrial Zone. In addition, we want to benefit from our government’s export-oriented support.”

“WE WILL DO WHAT IS NECESSARY”
Reminding President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s statements that they will support industrialists who create employment, increase production capacity, make export-oriented investments, and expand such investments, Deputy Mustafa Savaş said; “Our government especially has grants and supports for export. In order for us to become richer as a country, we have to produce. If we produce, there will be employment, if we produce, there will be exports, and we will develop as a country. Businessmen like you, who produce and provide employment, are highly valued, therefore I congratulate you. For this reason, we will also talk with the authorities to ensure that you find the land you need.”

“WE ARE ALWAYS BY YOUR SIDE”
Expressing his satisfaction with visiting Retek, which contributes to the country’s economy by making export-oriented investments and increasing employment capacity in Aydın, AK Party Deputy Savaş said, “The fact that the factory saves 500,000 trees a year from being cut down by recycling waste paper is a very important achievement. It makes significant contributions to the economy of Aydın, Nazilli, and the country. We need to increase the number of such factories. There are 7 Organized Industrial Zones in our province, and we need to increase their capacities. We also learned that Mr. Polat is having difficulty finding land, and we will help. As we always say, it is our duty to support anyone who wants to build and create.”

“OUR SUPPORT CONTINUES TO INCREASE”
Reminding that the AK Party government’s work on exports continues, Savaş said; “As the AK Party government, we are constantly working on increasing our exports. We already have loan support through Eximbank and other banks. Our exports, which were 36 billion dollars in 2002, have increased to 180 billion dollars. Our goal is to further increase export capacity and raise export figures even higher, and our government is mobilized for this. In addition, within the export items, we aim to produce domestically the intermediate goods that we currently import, and in this regard, our Ministry of Economy and our Ministry of Treasury and Finance have support programs for exporters. These supports are continuing and increasing.”
